Elsevier is a Dutch weekly magazine with a circulation of over 140,000 copies. It is conventionally considered to be one of the four most influential written media in its sector. It falls under the Reed Elsevier Group a publisher and information provider operating in the science, medical, legal, risk and business sectors. Reed Elsevier Group is listed on several of the world's major stock exchanges.

In feb 2013 Elsevier launched the web shop Elsevier Exclusief. Elsevier Exclusief uses the Product2channel platform to select all the products in their web shop. The product choice includes books, tableware, consumer electronics, wine and active lifestyle clothing, as well as the Special Editions that are released by Elsevier.

Elsevier are using a “full-service” e-commerce agency, thus minimizing the impact on their own infrastructure and skipping the learning curve other publishers have had. Using product2channel means they have been able to easily source a wide range of products and quickly scale-up their product offering without having to employ a team of buyers.
