In feb 2013 Elsevier launched the web shop Elsevier Exclusief. Elsevier Exclusief uses the Product2channel platform to select all the products in their web shop. The product choice includes books, tableware, consumer electronics, wine and active lifestyle clothing, as well as the Special Editions that are released by Elsevier.
Elsevier are using a “full-service” e-commerce agency, thus minimizing the impact on their own infrastructure and skipping the learning curve other publishers have had.
